add class 95 165 Arabian Ladies Side Saddle following class 30 .

add class 88 166 Arabian Ladies Sidesaddle Championship following class 57

Changes to The Regional Schedule:

209. 630 H/A Western Pleasure ATR moved to after 212.

595. H/A Mounted Native Costume ATR moved to after 265.

205. $ Arabian Western Pl Junior Horse moved to after 363.

Please note the the Hunter Over Fences section of the show has been cancelled for this year

The Region 18 Show dates are Monday July 26, 2010 through to Saturday July 31,2010.

The 1-day Last Chance Show will be Wednesday July 28,

with the completion of the Region 18 Championships taking place from

Thursday July 29-Saturday July 31.

Arabians Participate in Olympic Torch Run Celebration

Rivendell Arabian Sport Horses took “Rivendell Brego” to the Port Colborne Market Square on Monday December 21st/09 for the Olympic Torch Run celebration. Janet and Bri attended with Brego for two hours, passing out Arabian horse promotional material and inviting people back to the barn. Approximately 2,500 people attended downtown and many came to “pat a horse” and take away information. The celebration on arrival of the torch was great.

In the afternoon, we had approximately 45 people attend the barn. We had ridden dressage demonstrations and all horses were in their stalls, heads out to greet the visitors. Hot beverages, timbits and candycanes were offered and all attending went away with more breed information and smiles on their faces. It was a great day and we were blessed with good weather!
